CELEBRITY CLIENTS
In this photo, I am presenting one of my portraits of Lucille Ball to her daughter, Lucie Arnaz Luckenbill. Lucie became a client, saying that she doesn`t like to have a lot of things around but she loved this portrait.
Melody Thomas Scott (Nikki on The Young and The Restless) purchased this portrait painting in pastels of Lucile Ball and herself. She sent me a copy of Soap Oprah Digest (shown below) where she included portrait in interview.
In the interview published in Soap Opera Digest Melody Thomas Scott goes on to say "I was in Jamestown New York, for a fundraiser for the Lucy/Desi Museum, of which I'm a founding board member, and one of the artists did this. It was a complete surprise, and I just started crying on-stage when I saw it. She was going to put it up for auction I said, "Hold everything. I'm buying this, so I take it off the block." I had to have it. I met the artist at a reception afterward, and it was just so touching." In the lower right corner there is a personal letter Melody wrote to Susan again thanking her for the beautiful portrait.
